The festival will feature educational programming, fine art, live music, and demonstrations of cutting edge technology. On Saturday we will explore “Future Technology” with special demonstrations and exhibits of cutting edge technology along with musical performances and an exhibition of industrial art in Packard Music Hall.
On Sunday, July 3rd we will celebrate “Automobiles and Industry” with “Cruise-In the Park,” a classic car show featuring the Packard marque, presented by the Mahoning Valley Olde Car Club. “Cruise-In the Park” will open at noon with over 100 classic cars exhibited on Packard Music Hall’s beautiful South Lawn (weather permitting). This upscale event will include a fine art exhibit by local artists and an outdoor concert by the W.D. Packard Dixieland Band. Micro Cars - Mini Wonders
September 1 - December 23, 2016
Everything “tiny” seems trendy today and the museum is embracing the fad by bringing back its popular microcar exhibit after a four year absence. “Micro Cars: Mini Wonders” will showcase some of smallest and most unusual sports cars ever built. These sporty vehicles, which will include Crosleys, King Midgets, Isettas, and Messerschmidts, will be displayed alongside our beautiful long and low-slung Packards, which will accentuate their tiny size and quirky design.
Start Your Engines Local Racing Exhibit
