What's In Your Barn Annual Antique Motorcycle Exhibit
January 9 through June 12, 2016

“What’s In Your Barn” features thirty “Barn Find” motorcycles manufactured between 1939 and 1983 that were once collecting dust and cobwebs in corn cribs and cow sheds as far away as France. The exhibit includes a number of “barn fresh” all-original bikes as well as motorcycles restored to pristine condition. Whatever their condition, all of the motorcycles in the exhibit come with surprising stories of where and how they were found.

Widely recognized as one of the nation’s finest motorcycle exhibits, having received the Antique Motorcycle Foundation’s highest honor, the Award for Excellence, along with three consecutive first place awards in the Interpretive Exhibits Category from the National Association of Automobile Museums, the exhibit has become “the one to see” every year! The museum’s Antique Motorcycle exhibit regularly attracts visitors from around the world - in spite of last winter’s bitter cold and snow, the museum welcomed guests from 30 different states and from Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Poland, and the United Kingdom!

"The purpose of the Annual Antique Motorcycle Exhibit is to educate audiences about motorcycle and transportation history, and to promote the preservation, restoration and collection of antique motorcycles," said Mary Ann Porinchak, the museum's Executive Director. "This year’s exhibit is special,” added Porinchak, “It is a celebration of motorcycle history and the passion of the enthusiasts whose vision of what the “barn find” had been and what it can be again, inspires them to bring these machines back to life. You’ll be touched by some of their stories and laugh at others - and just maybe there is a “barn find” waiting out there, yet to be discovered.”

Each month during the Exhibit the museum will present its popular Saturday “Coffee & Donuts” seminars. These enlightening educational programs are open to the public, free with paid admission to the museum, and begin at 11:00 am, with the exception of Movie Night which has a $10 admission and begins at 6:00 pm.
This year’s Lecture Series includes:

April 19, 2016 "Movie Night at the Museum" sponsored by Yamaha of Warren $10 6:00 pm. Pizza, popcorn and soft drinks will be provided. Reservations are required and must be made directly to Yamaha of Warren- yamahaofwarren@yahoo.com.

May 14, 2016 “Rider Safety followed by a Vintage Group Ride” (Riders of newer bikes are also welcome to ride along!)
Presenters/Coordinators: Al Navecky and Terry Baxter, Warren, Ohio

Come enjoy the company of fellow motorcycle enthusiasts, be inspired by the men and women who have tirelessly worked to give new life to these historic machines and see how motorcycles and their history are being preserved for generations to come! There is so much to learn, so much to discover, so much history to explore and it’s all waiting for you at the National Packard Museum!

The 16th Annual Motorcycle Exhibit, “What’s In Your Barn” is sponsored by the Trumbull County Tourism Bureau, the Lake Erie Chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America, Little Wing Cafe, Inspired Catering by Kravitz, Dreves Insurance and the Zodiac Motorcycle Club.
